LegalService Terms
Last updated November 4, 2026
These terms apply when you buy the AEO Visibility Engine or the AEO Content Engine (the “Services”) from Byteable AI Inc. (“Byteable”, “we”). Together with your order or proposal (the “Order”) they form the agreement. If the Order and these terms conflict, the Order wins.
The Services
AEO Content Engine. We set up a tracked set of buyer questions (about 150), record your voice and the claims you can make, connect measurement, your blog and your LinkedIn company page, and then each week publish two articles and one listicle to your blog and schedule two LinkedIn posts from each article. Every draft passes our automated quality checks before it is published. You receive a weekly report and access to a live dashboard, and a monthly review with a named person.
AEO Visibility Engine. We audit who AI engines name in your category and why, compare your site with your closest competitors, and deliver a prioritized change list, a target list of third-party pages and outreach copy. Our team then makes agreed changes and tracks the results. Parts of the audit are delivered by our engineering team by hand; the scope is set in the Order.
We may change how we deliver the Services, including the tools we use, as long as what you receive is not materially reduced.
Fees and payment
Unless the Order says otherwise: the Content Engine costs a one-time setup fee of $3,000 and $1,000 per month; the Visibility Engine is quoted per client. Setup fees are due before work starts. Monthly fees are billed in advance each month. Prices exclude taxes, which you pay where they apply. [Counsel to confirm: late payment interest, and whether we may pause the Services when an invoice is more than 15 days overdue.]
Setup fees are non-refundable once setup work has begun. Monthly fees are non-refundable for a month that has started.
Term and cancellation
The Services run month to month from the start date in the Order. Either of us may cancel with 30 days’ written notice, effective at the end of the billing month in which the notice period ends. We recommend at least three months, because AI answers take time to change, but there is no minimum unless the Order sets one.
Either of us may end the agreement at once if the other materially breaches it and does not fix the breach within 15 days of notice. When the agreement ends, scheduled content stops, we hand over anything we produced that you have paid for, and access to the dashboard ends [30] days later.
What we need from you
- An intake session, and timely answers to our questions.
- Access to publish to your blog and your LinkedIn company page, and any other accounts named in the Order.
- Accurate information about your business, services, locations, prices, team and results.
- That you have the right to give us access to those accounts and to the material you send us.
Delays on your side may delay the Services. Fees are not reduced for weeks we could not publish because access or answers were missing.
Claims and approvals
We only state facts about your business that you have confirmed in writing, and we mark anything that depends on an unconfirmed claim. You are responsible for the accuracy of the facts you confirm, and for any rules that apply to your industry, such as advertising rules for healthcare, legal or financial services. Tell us about those rules during setup and we will add them to the quality checks.
By default, articles that pass the quality checks publish on schedule without a manual approval step. If the Order includes approval mode, articles wait for your approval and are published on the next release day after you approve them. You may put any scheduled item on hold, or ask us to correct or remove anything we published, and we will do so within [two business days].
Publishing and accounts
We publish to your company page, never to a personal profile. We keep the access you give us confidential, use it only for the Services, and stop using it when the agreement ends. You can revoke our access at any time, which may stop the Services.
Outreach on your behalf
We contact third-party sites on your behalf only after you approve the exact list and the message. We do not buy placements without telling you; any publisher that asks for payment is flagged to you first, and any paid placement needs your written approval and is paid by you. Outreach follows applicable law, including the CAN-SPAM Act. [Counsel to confirm sender identity and whether outreach is sent from Byteable or client domains.]
No guaranteed results
We do not promise rankings, mentions by any AI assistant, traffic, leads or revenue. AI engines and search engines are run by third parties who change them often and without notice. What we commit to is the work in the Order: the measured, published and reported cycle, and the audit deliverables.
Who owns what
Once paid for, the articles, posts, reports and site changes we produce for you are yours, and you may keep using them after the agreement ends. Byteable keeps its software, templates, checks, prompts, methods and dashboard, and its know-how, and you receive a license to use the dashboard while the Services run. We may describe you as a client and show anonymized or aggregated results, unless you tell us not to.
Content is drafted with the help of AI tools and checked by our automated quality gate and our team. [Counsel to confirm wording on AI-assisted content and copyright.]
Confidentiality and data
Each of us keeps the other’s non-public information confidential and uses it only for the agreement. Your data, contacts and reports are kept separate from other clients’. Personal data is handled as described in our privacy policy. [Counsel to confirm whether a data processing agreement is needed for clients who give us access to customer data.]
Warranties and liability
We will perform the Services with reasonable skill and care. Apart from that, the Services are provided without other warranties, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Neither of us is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits or revenue. Each party’s total liability under the agreement is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim. These limits do not apply to your payment obligations, to a breach of confidentiality, or where the law does not allow them.
You will indemnify Byteable against third-party claims arising from facts you confirmed, material you supplied, or your instructions. We will indemnify you against third-party claims that content we wrote, other than material you supplied, infringes their copyright.
General
Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events outside reasonable control, including outages at the platforms we publish to. We work as an independent contractor. You may not assign the agreement without our consent. Notices go to the email addresses in the Order, and to us at hello@byteable.ai.
The agreement is governed by the laws of the state in which Byteable AI Inc. is incorporated, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. [Counsel to confirm governing law, venue, and whether to add arbitration.]
